That isn't strange. I don't use phones often. The only reason I have a cell phone is because it was easier to get than a regular phone. And I don't take it with me when I go out. It is only for home "use", like emergencies and taking the rare picture.

I can relate to that I just don't like to talk through phones. Most of the time I have a flat battery so I can't even take pictures. Oh wait my phone doesn't even have a camera. I also can't be bothered to type SMS messages (texting).
I like to use Skype strangely enough I feel more comfortable to talk to my computerscreen.

im constantly on my cell.. it is on 24/7 unless i am in the country where we have no cell phone cause we are in the middle of nowhere so there is no point having the phone on.. but otherwise it is on all the time and constantly texting and talking on it

I have my cell for emergencies, but more for being reached rather than reaching out. I have an elderly mother. She might need to reach me, my siblings might need to talk to me about her or the health care center might need me, so I have to leave the phone on. I do use it to talk when I need to have info or tell someone something.
But I loose "roll over" minutes every month, I have over 500 minutes that I can use. In part because I have free minutes talking to the person I talk to the most (my sister.)
I keep having to get expanded plans as I've changed phones, the last one I had out of area calling (no roaming charges for being out of state like the previous phone had.) Now, I'm paying even more for the iphone, but I haven't even been barely outside the city limits since June so obviously no roaming charges.

I hate talking on my cell phone too, or any phone for that matter. I'm not a big phone person. I use my cell for pictures and emergencies too. I have a prepaid phone simply because I don't use a cell enough to need a big plan. I don't keep mine turned on all the time either.

I am using my cellphone for texting my friends... It is not kind of weird eh? hehe
I don't use it to call anyone, texting is much more cheaper
