when you were a kid, which movie/tv character scared the heck out of you?

mine has got to be the Crypt Keeper from the tv series tales from the crypt that pops out of the coffin laughing as if there's no tomorrow. i really don't know why but ever since, he has been scaring the heck out of me.. i remember whenever would scan through the tv when i was younger and i would get a glimpse of that show i would quickly change the channel or turn the tv off. so now it's your turn. share some stories that goes along with you childhood nightmare.

ive never had a "fear" of clowns in my life, but there are 2 clowns that scared the crap outta me when i was in my early teens.
that damn stuffed clown doll from Poltergeist that attacks the little boy.
and Pennywise from the stephen king movie "It".
maan Tim Curry did such a great job of being scary!
