Hello to all fellow blogger.com users.
I have 2 blogs on this site. one is a personal blog where I plan to talk about anything and everything. What I want to know is: is there any way for us to separate or group our posts into categories? Like all posts relating to cars, dogs, flowers etc? If so, how?
Would appreciate any input.

Maybe have a look at layouts where you can add sidebar boxes. Some new and updated boxes have been added for slide shows, links, categories, etc. You can also add another side bar with more complete posts - using feed burner.
But you need to "burn" your blog first, then visit the feed burner site to add/modify components (There's a lot of learning here too). If you have a look at my blog computer tech links in my mylot profile - you can see I have added a post list side bar box using feed burner.

I think you are using the Blogger post editor. After typing your post, you will see a text box at the bottom of the post, with the title "Labels for this post". Just type in your category for that particular post, for example cars. Then this post will be categorized/ tagged under cars category. This category will be stored in Blogger. If you want to write another post in the same category, all you have to do is select it from the list. The list will be displayed in the "Labels for this post". You can also add multiple categories for single post with a comma separating them. For example, I can have something like cars, sports cars.
Hope that helps. Thanks.
