Does your dog run or attack the vaccuum?

My dog runs. She doesn't bark at it or anything. She just avoids it. I'm glad she's not the type to attack it because that would make doing my house work so difficult.

Wow god question i have to dogs and they both run. I don't know what it is but they run all the time. I think that it is the noise because dog are known to have really good hearing so they just run from the sound.

The dog I have currently doesn't run or attack the vacuum. The first couple times he heard me use it, he did bark. But was just short term. I had a dog 10 years ago who would stalk the vacuum. He was always just around the corner waiting to 'pounce.'

Got two dogs, one tends to attack, the other runs and hides. But the one usually listens when I tell him "off" and he will then go do something else.

My dogs just leave the room. They do not like the noise. I am sure that to their much more sensitive ears that they can hear all sorts of other levels and layers to the noise so it probably sounds different than the low "whirrrr" we hear. They are not really "afraid", they just don't like it.

My dog is a bit afraid of it but he's so curious that he still has to follow me around everywhere I go with it. Whenever it gets too close to him he'll run away from it but just moments after he's right there again checking out what it does. He doesn't bark at it or attack it anymore, he tried a few times and after correcting it then he hasn't tried that again.

When we had our two dogs one would run and the other would attack. It was pretty funny. Now my daughter will run from it and then turn around and unplug it.

Mt sister's german shepherd barks and attacks the hoover. He has to be locked in a different room from the hoover while you use it. Good excuse not to do the hoovering tho!
