Took my son to see Alvin and the Chipmunks today

I didn't know they had a movie out. Come to think of it, they have been playing that Christmas song a lot on the radio. My kids keep asking who it is. You know the one "I still want a hoola hoop". AAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLVVVVVVVIIIIIINNNNN!

Looks horrible to me, but it did very well at the box office..like $6 million if I am right...I am Legend is the only that beat it.

we will, but dont know when. lol. i hope this weekend. since i was a kid i love chipmunks i even have a cd of their songs.

I took my 10 year old and 6 year old to see it. We loved it! Naturally for different reasons, since I grew up with the chipmunks, LOL. It was worth seeing it at a matinee. This will probably be one that we will buy for our collection. My 10 year was so excited when she saw that Jesse McCartney was doing the voice of one of the chipmunks. I was a little skeptical at first on how they were going to handle the story, but it was great!! This is a must see for the family!!! Anyone heard when it is coming on DVD?

I plan to watch this movie in this week!! It looks like a great movie~ I love animation and this is a combination of real people and animation! cool!!! very excited about it!!!

We took the boys to the movies on Christmas and we saw this movie. I thought it was pretty cute!

My husband and I saw the movie and it was cute and funny.

I really want to see this movie myself. My son is to young to watch it but I think it is going to be a really good family movie. I will prob have to wait because it is hard dragging my hubby to see what he calls "Kiddy Movies" but I still can not wait to see it.

i have watched it and i am so happy that i did! i remember watching Alvin and the Chipmunks (cartoons) when i was younger and haven't seen it since the early 90's. so i am really glad that they thought of coming up with a movie.

i know i'm taking my daughter to go see it hopefully on the 21st ! i remember watching the chipmunks when i young so much innocence in those cartoons not like now.

This is one of the few movies that I am considering paying theatre prices for to take my kids to see. It looks great! It may be that I grew up watching the cartoon and have a fondness for the Chipmunks, but I can't wait to see the movie. It sounds like you enjoyed it. I'm glad to hear that before I go spend the money to see it!

This is one of the movies that look nice, but that I will probably wait to see on DVD. I try to limit my movie going. Specifically, I can be goaded into seeing a particular movie if people have decided to boycott it. Otherwise, the movies I will pay theater prices to see are few.

Oh wow! My kids have been bugging to see this movie, and I plan to take them soon hopefully. I've just been so busy with Christmas coming up and all. It looks like a cute movie, was it any good?

My 4 year old daughter wants to see that. Everytime the preview for it comes on she is glued to the screen repeating everything the chipmunks say. I think it looks really cute.
