Yeah, I read about this too. I think that Tyra also picks girls that look similar to her during the competitions too. Or am I the only one that noticed that? I really think that they should have put out all that information (her previous work) during the beginning of the show so things like this won't come up again.

She does pick girls like her, makes me wonder if a blond haired, blue eyed girl has a chance:( I thought this show was to "discover" a new model? Saleisha was already a model who was getting work. This is really not fair. Heather or Jenah should of won. They came off the street. They weren't current models, friends of Tyra. I love the show and will still watch but this def has me miffed.

Danielle, Nicole, Jasleen certainly in no way look like Tyra! Saleesha is really the only girl that comes close to looking like Tyra. There was one girl in cycle 8 that looked exactly like Tyra and Tyra even told the girl she looked like her. How far did looking like Tyra get her huh? I cant even remember her name now.

It's totally unfair to the other girls. I guess in order to be a top model all you have to do is go to camp & walk on Tyra's runway prior to going on ANTM. There were better models on the show and we all know it.I was wondering how Saliesha won....now I know.

I totally agree and think the only reason why Tyra mentioned it during the show was because she KNEW it would be discovered later on. There is nothing you can hide from the media when they set their camera on you. How could Tyra do that is the question I am wondering.

I also read about this, and I think it's pretty unfair that some rules were bent for her. There were a lot of more gorgeous and talented girls on the show and it's just sad that they had to be eliminated because they had less experience.

i did hear something about this season being "rigged". from what i know, the only way shalisha and tyra know each other is because she went to tyras camp. but i dont agree with the winner always being like tyra. there has been about 9 cycles and most of the winners are nothing like tyra.

Yeh, it is getting a little weird because every person it started to look like the person from the previous cycle and so on and so on. I can match about 4-5 girls that look exactly like the previous seasons. However, I do like the show, not because I want to become a model but because I really enjoy the art, the designers, the couture, the fashion industry has amazed me throughout the years. I love it and it give me engery

I'm not sure how the rules work, but I am surprised Tyra knew her already since on the show they acted like they never met! I don't know if it's against the rules though. I think any non-proffesional model can apply. A lot of the girls in the previous seasons had modeled before.
