Do you have to be really very serious to be successful in life?

Yeah even I don't understand why are we running about all the time, why do we run after money and other materialistic things ,after all one day we are going to leave everything here and leave alone to unknown space where we will not need all this.....we have forgotten Gandhiji who was so simple and yet so successful. I think if people will take things lightly they will surely succeed, but may be slowly, and in this fast world, who has patience to succeed slowly, everyone wants to make progress overnight....this is life... I think only 'MASTERS' like you can do it...the one who is so cool yet successful. I think hard work is key to success...and one will have to get serious for hard work.

i never take it light becausei knew it is my first and last chance . so i always try to be hard on my work. merry chirstmas

If you don't take it light, you might be successful in your job, in what you own, but you will never be successful in life, happiness, and not being stressed out by everything. You can turn a bad day, bad situation, into a good one by making light of the situation. Being serious all the time, I'd never make it lol

Yes, it is simply enjoying how to be successful that counts. If we take it too seriously as if we will only be happy when we attain it, we are already tired when we get there. So, enjoying it while journeying is still the best for me. Thanks for the space. Enjoy!

I think that you have to be focused and serious to a point. But you don't have to be boring and have no sense of humour. "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" is a saying in my country, and it's right.

I definitely think so, yes.. Not that we shouldn't take life seriously.. but we shouldn't take it too seriously either. A sense of humor is a real plus, I think, when it comes to life.. and being able to laugh at ourself..

i think i am serious type. i have taken everything in life seriously to be successful. i am not claiming that i am so much successful.But it irritates me when i see some people who just are so casual.

this usually depends on the situation.. in my case i am a freelance writer.. of course anytime they given me assignments to prepare i need to be serious in order to finish my assignment... but if i do not have assignment of course it is necessary to unwind and relax..enjoy the fruits of my labor =)

I think that hard work has a lot to do with being successful ,but luck sometimes takes over since I have seen people who take it ligh and are successful.

We should have a balanced approach towards life.Being just too serious and lacking in other spheres and efficiency is not going to get anyone successful.

...life's mystery.....you don't know if what the next happening in our life.....successful or not......even if you do your best to take your dreams......it depends in earth.... but you can believe that nothing is possible.....and you make sure,you will enjoy your life in earth.....no matter how things turn out good or bad.. happy or sad.. its ur choice and i know that you da one responsible for it. ......:)
