How Did I know the He is the One....

Hi Guys! I'm new here. We will be getting married next year so I decided to join this forum to relieve me from the stress brought about by the wedding preparation and planning. My friends keep on asking me how did I know that my husband to be is the one for me. I tried to think about it and realized that although most brides will say "you can't really know, you will just feel it", I observe from our 5-year relationship that there are more observable signs to know that your guy is the one. The most the most dominant sign is that when we were able to give brutally frank comments about our parents without us being defensive about them. Something like when you are ganging up with your siblings to sort of insult your mom or dad to make point? Indeed, it is human nature to find the faults of our parents but when someone from outside say something bad about them, we feel insulted. Since, my fiancee' and I no longer give a crap about how we stated things that are wrong with each of our parents, that's a clear sign that I have already entered in his world and he has already entered my world as well. We are more than siblings. We are in love and we are ready to get married:) I hope that this enlightens people in this site the way it enlightens my friends...
