Heart Disease - Gastritis

I am in a peculiar situation that never happened in my life.
My mother is a heart patient with By-pass surgery. I take very good care of her. Recently, she started sufferring from back ache so I took her to one of the best orthopaedists in the town. Whenever I go to a doctor, i explain all the health history of by-pass surgery and the medicines and diet that my mother is sensitive to.
Even then, the doctor prescribed such a medicine that showed immidiate impact and she is affected with Medicine Induced Gastritis. She had several vomittings for two days and now she is recovering with the medicines of my family doctor. He says she takes a month to recover from this.
My mom is not recovering from her weakness from then on. I am trying every way the doctor is telling me. My mom is 60+ and her condition is a cause of worry for me.
I cant understand what to do ??

However, if you don't mind me saying this, but I do suggest that it is better to seek another medical second opinion for your mother.

In medicine, those persons who are at risk when undergoing operations are of extreme age. Extreme age, means the older ones and the younger ones... Perhaps the reason why she is not recovering is because of her age and her back ache... Well I don't really know if that is really the exact reason for I haven't assessed your mom... Have a second opinion if you don't mind...

yes, i agree with you. she is unable to recover partly due to her age and another reason i think is, she lost her innate strength because of the haert surgery and is unable to withstand health problems.

If you don't mind,why don't you take a second opinion.Sometimes its of great help.That's all I can suggest you because your mother is a heart patient and she needs expert advice which we can not give.Wish your mother's fast recovery.You have to stay calm and don't stress yourself.If you are fine then only you can take care of your mother.

yes, i have taken second opinion with the cardiologist and he has advised to continue the medicines for gastritis. He says it takes around a month for her to recover completely.
