My very favorite site is a 3d chatting site.
It is ultra cool, go ahead, give it a try, I bet, if you like chatting, you'll love it as much as I do.
Here's the link:

I have two favorite sites:
Helium.com - a site where people write articles and other rate the articles
Bookcrossing.com - the largest free book club in the world

It's actually a little different than a regular book club. The idea on BookCrossing is that you read a book, then you register it on the website. The next thing you do is leave the book "in the wild" for someone else to find. So you would leave it on the seat at a restaurant, or on a park bench, or outside a store, something like that. The hope is the next person that finds it will read the book, log on to the website, and tell what they thought about the book. The next hope is that the book starts traveling again to the next person. There are forums where you can go to talk about specific books, you can trade with other members, or you can join bookrings where people sign up to read books. When the book comes to you, you read it, then pass it along to the next person on the list. BookCrossing is a super fun way of reading and sharing books.
