I've always been a Monk fan.The way he solved the mysterious crime, the funny things he's been doing, all make me stick to the show.
But somehow,I feel this show is going down.I can't recall from which season, which episode. It's just that the crime solving is not so intellegent as before, and Monk's funny acting make me feel he just be doing what he did many time before.
Don't get me wrong,I still love the show. But it's not as fantastic as three or four years ago.
Is there anyone else think this show is getting boring? And,based on what do you come to that conclusion? The same as me?

I really enjoyed the first seasons the best, but think some of the guest stars have helped keep this a must see show. Tony is a great actor, who can make me laugh.
I know some of the scenes are easy to predict what will happen next. It would be nice to see the actor, who plays Monk's brother on more episodes.

I agree to an extent. I think a big part of the draw of the show in the first few seasons were Monk's quirks. Now were all kind of use to his quirks and they're not really introducing new things. I still enjoy the show and will continue to watch it.

I still like it, but like you feel it's declining. I think it's really hard to write realistic myseteries. I'm a writer and have tried a few times to no avail.

I think like many things it is hard to keep it fresh, I think one other problem is that it is on all of the time or not at all.
I miss it when it is not on, then they have a marathon, so I watch those, I get to watch a few new episodes and poof it is gone again.
I like the security of some routine sometimes.
