Is love and lust necessary for a relationship?

Others say that love is not complete without lust. Lust to them goes along with love so that a harmonious relationship will prosper. It is essential to them so as to avoid betrayal. What can you say about this stand? Is it really necessary that love and lust both exist in a harmonious relationship?

OF COURSE..if you don't have love or lust in a relationship, there's a big possibility you can't call it a relationship coz you don't have a passion for that. There's gotta be one of them.

i need both, lust is when my girlfriend walks across the room and i wanna just jump on her, the love is that she might be in holey jeans and a scrungy tank top, both make an equal balance and everyone is happy
