I was wondering about something, ands would like your opiniions on the subject. "If Jesus were here today and living in this Christian nation of ours. Which was supposedly founded on Christian principals. Would he be able to be elected president of the U.S.? Or do you thinkthat his people ae so outnumbered that he wouldn't have a chance?
I think it would be interesting to see.

"in this Christian nation of ours"
Who on Earth said that the United States of America is a Christian nation. We are "One Nation Under God"... yes but 'god' is defined as such...
"One that is worshiped, idealized, or followed: Money was their god."

Read about the history of Rhode Island and why people first inhabited there and you will find there was far far from what we consider as Christians... God.

I am afraid that HE would be outnumbered just as HE was when HE was here on earth over 2000 years ago. However when HE does appear, all those unbelievers and those who live careless lives, those without God will be looking for rocks to hide themselves and for mountains to cover them. So HE will not come as an ordinary man, even a great one but in power and majesty as the Son of God.

first of all this not a Christian country ..sorry..far from it..we are a country who has christians in it..but we don't have a state church ...we have a republic form of gov't
Christ would not involve Himself in politics..He would ignore these politicians like he did the Romans...Rome ruled the known world and Jesus did not preach for or against the power of Rome..it did not really matter to His teaching..
