I don't understand what happened to Donovan McNabb this past Sunday? He looked like he had about two years ago. I thought he gave up trying after he got knocked down a couple times. But this week he even scrambled with the ball when necessary, How About That. He must have been thnking he was back in Syracuse, or did his agent tell him his contract would be up soon? After all he'll need a couple decent games to impress any prospective teams.

Not knowing a thing about football and still wondering why the playing time left in the time allowed is longer than that in real time , all I can say is that he wanted to get back on the team or someone maybe persuaded him that he had to try even though it appears he was not ready. I would say that person who persuaded him was his agent, and that he was wrong in doing so. It might be that whatever injuries McNabb had would be aggravated.

We have to remember that he came back from his injury much earlier than most people do when they tear up their leg like he did last year. He is finally looking like the Donovan of old, except he still makes some poor throws. It was nice seeing him scramble as he needs to go back to that so they can get positive yards on more plays. Hopefully he will back next year but if not, I have a feeling he could end up in Chicago.

Strange game. Cowboys tried to pass to much and should have controlled the clock with JJ/MB3 especially after Romo hurt the thumb.
He did play pretty well and made no mistakes which was key, McNabb that is. They new they had to play an A+ game to win and were very focused while the Cowboys maybe were not so focused. They just had found out they clinched the a top 2 seed when Seattle lost right before they played, perhaps this contributed to their lackluster effort. Smart move by Westbrook at the end of the game, but even if he did score that TD, the Eagles would have totaled 17 points. That is not a huge amount. The Cowboys just laid an egg and were not fully prepared it seemed at kick off.
