What do you want this Christmas?

I think I've posted just one topic last November! I was just busy with my blog. So, how's everybody here. Happy Holidays to all, by the way! So, what do you want this christmas? I've asked this question to my friend. She did not answer me immediately and she started crying. She was having problem with her family. We're sharing stories, experiences, etc, and family-related issues was one of our topics. Few minutes later, she told that "happy family" is what she wanted this christmas. I really can't feel the real meaning of christmas since I did not practice celebrating christmas with my family but I can see real happy faces during that time. I want to be with my family this christmas, it's not what I've practiced but that what my parents wanted. So, what about you, all! ~mar

I don't think that's even possible unless God decided to lend him to us for Christmas.

I agree! We have desires in our hearts but still God holds the key! We really can't understand how He works in our lives. We can just trust him. That's all we can do.

I haven't thought that Christmas is all about miracles... I never heard of it. I do believe in miracles in history but I haven't heard about miracles nowadays.

From where are you? I am from Philippines. Here, we practice celebrating christmas... party, caroling... etc. And that's our tradition. I agree that there are some people out there who would disagree me because I know that we have different beliefs for certain things. I won't try to convince people to my beliefs, I'll respect it. Thanks for responding.

The only thing I want for Christmas is to be with my family. It wont be happening though. We cant afford the trip home to Michigan. Our oldest daughter and her family are in Colorado. They cant afford to come home either. This is the first time in my life (45 yrs)that I have not been with my mom and kids for Christmas. This year it will just be my husband and our youngest here together. Atleast we are all healthy.

Peace on earth, relaxing time with my family, god food, great friends, and of course I like to see my special TV - Shows and just have a splendid day with the family. Ok, now You are wondering, what about the presents, well if I could I would not spend any money on gifts at all. That is not what Christmas are about. It´s about health, god, religion, and angels. However I have spent some small amount on gifts for my kids of course, but that´s all.

This Christmas, I wouldn't ask for something material, i just want good health for my family especially for my parents. Maybe I'm one of those blessed persons who still have their family intact and i'm really grateful for that. I'm happy to say that We've always celebrated this holiday season as a whole family and that's really something that i would want to continue enjoying for many more Christmases.

Wow! How nice! I would say that my family is still intact but we can't celebrate the season together. You are blessed not only because your family is intact but the good thing is you can celebrate the christmas together. Thanks for responding. ~mar
