I personally don't think there is any way to measure maturity. Everyone reaches it in their own time and in their own way.

I do not think that maturity can be measured based on age alone. It has a lot to do with the way a person is brought up as well as the attitudes that a person have. The are many immatured adults around and there are also many matured kids that can think much better than adults...

It might take a lifetime to measure somebody for emotional maturity. Some girls said that, physically, they grew up in inches after they got married too. Emotional maturity does not have an age limit.
