From HS to COLLEGE TOGETHER?

Do you think that it's wrong to go straight out of high school into college with your high school sweetheart? Would you disagree with your child if they told you these were their plans? Why do you believe that? Also, they're planning to live together.

it is never wrong to be with someone we love. when we are around someone we love, we are inspired and tend to perform better. however, living together is a different story. unless they are seriously thinking of marriage, then it makes sense. but for just being together, i will raise my doubts and concerns over their plan of living together.

I did it. Although it didn't work out with us, I thought at the time that it was a good decision and it didn't change anything at all. I ended up with the person I was destined to be with in the end and it was a good idea at the time. It gave me someone I knew while I was in school and helped me feel a little more comfortable. I would think it would be okay for my child, I would just want them to make sure that they did not think too much of it because it might not work out. But I would want to be supportiv of them no matter what because it's always nice to have that support.
