My Six Year Old Called 911 Today Because He Was Made At His Brother

My six year old called 911 after he got into an argument with his brother. They were downstairs supposedly getting their games when he brought the phone to me and the 911 operator was on the line.

That's one defect of having too much freedom. Parents in your area can no longer discipline children in a way even God allows and does. In the Holy Bible, God commands parents to teach and train and discipline their children up to the extent of spanking them. Sometimes children need spanking but in your area, beware as your child may call 911.

yes some ppl just dont spank their children. they are against it. their are other ways to disipline your children then just spanking them. Like taking stuff away they love to do or grounding them from going out with friends.

Oh lordy lou, You can't keep your eyes on two kids EVERY second of the day. Kids do get into trouble. Just cause we dont beat our children and make them fear us doesnt mean we are bad parents.

Oh my gosh! What did they do? This is such a fear of mine now that my son knows his numbers and he also knows what 911 is used for! Plus it just sounds like something he would do anyways....

The police came and I told them what happened and the officer just told me to make sure I talked to him and tell him 911 is just for emergencies. The officer was really nice.

HA HA HA.... at least that was it. I had a friend who was fined because of that happening. It had happened a couple times though, not just the once.

I hope that they were understanding! Did they charge you or anything because it was not an emergency ? I hope my daughter doesn't do that lol sometiems she gets a hold of the phone and plays with it!

I find this story really cute! I wonder what they argued about that merit the call! However I do find it strange the officer didn't take the time to sit with the children to explain the 911 service himself. I think it would have been more meaningful coming for the officer who had to make the trip!

OH ya I talked to the 911 operator and she said the police had to come and they did. The officer was nice and told me to make sure I explained 911 is only for emergencies.

Now thats a story to remember for awhile...One to remind him of when he starts dating maybe or on his wedding day. LOL
