i doubt it. i also doubt whether the yanks know what they are doing. they don't know a good manager when they see one. and all this talk is distracting to the players and not good for the game. I think that they should just get new owners. there's oil rich dubai consortium waiting to buy liverpool over. i think they will do much better and cough up what's necessary to propel the team forward.

I am not so sure given the spate of bad results against Man U and Chelsea. Having said that given the fact that they have qualified for the next round of Champions League might ease the opening of the purse that Rafa so badly wants. I do think Mascherano would be good resource for Liverpool to hold on. But, if his deal is finalized, then we should let go of Sissoko. Cheers! Ram
