have you ever fell in love with someone? but if he or she didn't love you, what did you do and how do you treat him ot her? as a friend or never talk to her or him?

Story of my life. I've fallen in love with a friend and can't seem to fall out. I've known this person basically my whole life so I don't try to avoid them. I just have to deal with my own feelings one day at a time and hope they'll fade or work themselves out.
