I defeniatly can! =P I watch a lot of shows and movies =)
Shows: Supernatural, Friends, Greys Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, Due South (old show-funny)
New Release Movies: I am Legend, Bee Movie, Enchanted
Movies: The Patriot (Mel Gibson), Phantom of the Opera (Emmy Rossum, Gerard Butler), Panic Room, Thr3e

I have to agree with this comment about Supernatural. A friend of mine turned me on to the series and lent me the entire first and second season. The tongue in cheek humor side by side with the family drama all in an occult environment is better done than Buffy or Charmed ever thought of.
As far as films are concerned- The New Batman directed by Christopher Nolan. This is the way Batman was meant to be. Also, LOTR all three films are phenomenal. Narnia LTW&W is awesome too. I would recommend a bunch more movies but I don't want to seem unfocused. BTW: Christopher Nolan is also the genius that brought us Memento another truly phenomenal film.

By the new Batman you mean the one with Christain Bale right? Not sure.
But I like all the movies you've mentioned too. So maybe if we have those in common you would like the ones I recommended.
I love Supernatural for the funny and serious parts. It;s a great show with great actors.

you have met the right person if you want suggestion for watching TV shows.If you want to watch thrillers,go for
1.Prison break
2. 24
2. Heroes..etc.
for comedies- FRIENDS,Coupling,How I met your mother,@ and a half man,etc.
if you want to watch fantasy you may go for Smallville,Charmed,etc.

Here are some great Tv series, Charmed and Weeds.. Charmed has 8 seasons.. Weeds is still running.. and they are till season 3.. As for movies, I really like a lot of movies, some there's rules not to mention about it. So I can't even mention it.. but Pulp fiction, Kill Bill, Kill Bill Vol:2..
