Who can we trust

Ok I just needed to start this Discussion as I am not to sure on here any more
Who can we trust on here when they request to be friends?
I mean is it happening that when you have been here to long that possibly some of your Friends that you have been friends with for a long Time, are Spies and get rid of you?
Do they then pick certain Members like TerryZ and get them of here?
Is it going to be me next as I have been here as long as my lovely Friend Terry?
We all know the Trolls are here but how do we know they are not our Friends List?
Well I have been thinking about this a lot over the last few Days, actually since a lovely Person like Terry has been banned from here, she did nothing wrong, and she is gone
But who am I to dispute this just a Member who has been here 13 Months and sees what is happening to all the good Members on here, People that do not deserve it, that have done nothing wrong as such apart from defend themselves
I just needed to get this of my Chest, as it has hit me hard that my good Friend has been banned and never did anything to deserve being banned
Even if this disappears at least I got it of my Chest

Hi Gabs!
I don't really trust too much of anyone who's requesting friendship here. I apologise to those that have asked, but I'm just letting them sit there. I have a wonderful group of friends as it is, and like you said, minus a very kind, loving and giving friend. Terry was just sweet, nothing more to say. She was very upset when she was getting harrassed and now the harrasser is here and Terry is not. B F'ing S! This really upsets me.
I've been sort of absent lately, got some changes going on in my life, and to find out that Terry is gone all together is just terrible! I'm going to miss her very much!
When you talk to her Gabs, please give her my email address will you? I'd really like to keep in touch with her. We always just kept in touch using myLot's message system. Thank you!

I haven't been here that long so I don't know what it was like before and as usual I don't have any real answers. I have seen some minor changes to the site and noticed discussions about the snitching and back stabbing that goes on and those people seem to stay members -
so why would the administrators Ban members that have been here for a long time? If someone is here, posting discussions, generating traffic and keywords, you'd think the site admins would encourage that person to hang around even more.
Is a ban permanent?

Good point, they made money because of long term members.
I think ban is permanent in most cases, but I am not sure...

Oh Gabs I'm so sorry i wish I have been keeping up with what is going on but I have had to get new puter I fought with it for 4 days to get it set up then had to return it and get another one I'm still setting it up and with "Christmas coming it seems like every day that Larry is sending me somewhere to pick up some gifts I hope ya have A Very Merry Christmas to

Gabs, only you (and Gissi) can decide who your real friends are by they was they respond to you, there could be some nasties on your friends list, the only thing you can do about that is to be careful who you admit to the list, I stopped adding people some time ago, and now only allow them after they have been members for some time and look as though they behave responsibly (although looks can be deceiving sometimes).
I have 3 or 4 friends who keep having to leave, and come back with new names, I keep looking out for them after they have gone.

I know how hard it was for you to lose Terry here sweet Angel! I can undersdtand why you feel the way you do but I coan't let myself think that way - for the moment at least I plan to accept people the way the appear! Just the way I need to be just now! xxx

That happened to my sister she was only here a few months but she got barred also , with no reason and none was ever offered ....
She even tried to jooin under another name but she was still barredd , she couldn`t login nothing ...
All she wrote about was Y&R , one of the scenes they had on and I guess mylot admin didn`t like it , not one bit ...
And gave her the boot ...

No it makes no sense to me either , but what do we do except buy another computer and assume another name

Did you get email back from Mylot?
It seams like they never respond to our emails.
As far as Trolls, there are always people on dark site without the reason. They don't have life per say. They are not happy. They can be happy only if they see some kind of power over other people.
It happens in real life and it can happen in virtual world.
In virtual society seems to be easier to hide.
Like in real life, they made mistakes and sooner or later they will pay the price.
Terry should send a letter to Mylot admin asking open question if she is banned or this is just Mylot server error.
Keep in mind, Mylot is not reading our posts. They don't care.
They don't banned anyone without abuse send by Mylot users.
Maybe is time to identify some of them. The point is, it is against Mylot guidelines to talk about them.
Are we in catch 22?

Yes she did write to them and she has no reply and like she says why bother any more the amount of Mails that has now gone to them and no one replied even to the Mail Addy I sent her that someone kindly sent me a while back she has had no response yet

I have been missing several of my friends on here now I am begining to wonder if they are just busy with the holidays or have been banned. As for them bein gon our friends list we will never know I would hate some one I called friend would do this.!

The banning for no reasons has to stop sometime doesn't it? I hate this place when things like this occur. It does make one leary of posting etc. It has had that affect on me in the past as well. I wondfer if there is still MLPD around that is involved or monitoring at all. Anyhow thanks for this discussion.

I really do not know for sure who is involved I have just heard Rumours a few of them but there is no certainty
I just know Terry should never have been banned

well yeah its true the burden or lump in your chest will gone if you vent it here or just tell to any of your friends or even to your husband if he is a good listener!!! its really hard to trust now a days but just shrugged it off be optimistic..somebody may come and be your loyal friends...

Oh I hate to hear that Terryz was banned! I know of a few that have been banned for made-up or no reason at all. I wish I know who is doing the trolling on here. I have been back for about 3 days and am starting to see some of the same things that caused me to leave months ago. I had hoped to come back and avoid all the trash here, but it seems to be everywhere you look.
Tell Terryz I am sorry that she is banned and wish her a Merry Christmas!

I'm still so baffled as to what's happened regarding Terry. Surely, there has to be an answer soon. Please tell her that I'm thinking about her, and really hope to see her back again. I can understand how you're feeling, and have wondered some of these same things. Last year at this time, I'd never even heard of this site, but it's been eleven months now, and I've met such great people. Take care.

Thanks so much. I didn't even 'really' get the chance to know her, as I've added her, as one of 'my friends' since this happened. I know from 'a mutual friend here,' and others, as well as seeing her around, that she's wonderful though.

I am still trying to wrap my mind around how someone could get you banned in the first place, gabs. It seems to me that you should have a chance to defend yourself once you are accused. I have been hoping that TerryZ would be reinstated, but know nothing about the reason she was banned. It's pretty scary to think that anyone who has a gripe against you has the power to get you banned. Enjoy your holidays!

if a friend gets banned, its not your fault of believing him. accepting a friend request depends upon only the person's credibility. if he gets banned later, its an unfortunate thing. but you can still keep in contact with the friend outside mylot.
i am really sorry that your best friend got banned.

Gabs, I am not sure how to respond to this. I have lots of people on my list, and some get bored and leave, or tired and leave. Many of them come back. I have not really felt targeted, but I also have not been really active lately. I have a friend or two I am concerned about, because they usually respond faithfully to me and I have not heard from them. One has had four profiles. At one time I was very addicted to this site, and my happiness was tied up in it for awhile. I now have a perspective that I want to be happy and involved, but if I cannot be, I have other things in my life that make me happy.

Like you I used to love it here but I have 2 other Sites now where I prefer to be as they are not like this at all
Ok every Site has bad ones but at least they can not get to you by down rating and you have the facility to block them to
It is sad how this Site has turned out it really is
One minute our Friends are here and then they have gone without a Trace

Dearest Gabs, I also have wondered the same thing. I have been here a long time also. I have noticed the recent trend that long term members seem to be disappearing. Are they really disappearing or not? I know I have them on my friends list. I know I have it turned on that when they post I get a notification. Here is the problem....I am not getting any notifications from certain members. Now they are either not posting or can't post or have removed me from their friends list. I have no way of knowing. Trust is a factor that enters into this situation. Who can we trust? Who should we trust? The members? The admin? Since i don't have the answers myself, I can not give any real answers to your question. Although, I do believe it is an excellent question.

For our transaction to complete successfully, I must be able to trust that such agonies will not come to pass.

Sweetheart,
I'm sorry to keep feeling hurt and I know that your friend ia a nice person. I hope that they let her come back on.. And they probably will it she gets in touch with them... I think the best thing we can do is just continue to have positive discussions and ignore anyone that is negative.... I know I've had friends that were not able to post but after while they let them back on... they realized that they had broken the rules without realizing it.
Sweetie, I think sometimes we have let things go then they will work out.

I've been actually thinking the same as you.I have some close friends who always respond to my discussions but there are also some who never do,not even to a single one.I mean you never do know if someone is jealous of someone elses "#"above their avatar or being spiteful to some that have never done anyone wrong and have been here longer than they have OR if its "mylot's"way of letting some of us go by getting rid of us.It can happen,what if they find that the person is not starting any new discussions in along time or some have been here long enough(mylots thinking)and freeze them out for good or for awhile.I really do not know:(It just seems to weird for me that mylot has not let her back in yet,dont you think?Its been awhile now so i think its mylot who,well decided something.Maybe they are going to get rid of me because of something and not because of someone else,they do it on their own.Im just tired of playing the waiting game of being "let go".:)
