Marrying the 2nd time around

In America it is legal for people to marry. A second time, a third time, a fourth time, a fifth time. They can do it almost immediately after divorcing their first spouse.

I think it depends on where you are. There are countries that allow divorce as an option and there are places that do not allow such. So there is not an exact answer to your question it will always depend on your location.

If i know someone is marrying 2nd time , if he or she has valid reason like husband or wife past away is ok for me yea after all they need someone to walk together down the road .

As long as the person is legally unmarried, I mean is divorced or is widowed, then they should re marry.If they want to marry and they found love a second time around, they should marry.

There is nothing wrong in marrying in second time around maybe your first relationship didn't work out or there is a valid reason. You can marry again along as you do it legally so that you will not encounter problems in the future. I know your happy if you do so. do you have children in the first relationship did you consider them in your decission many point to count on be careful on your decission you consider everything and the feelings of all the one you love they have the right and if everything is fine then go for it and make your self happy...

Hi glitzypurple, If you are a married person, want to get married second time,it should be legal.You should divorce the first marriage and then go for 2nd marriage. If you are a widow, without any legal formalities you can get married 2nd time. Good Luck.

there's nothing wrong about marrying the second time around, everyone deserves a better chance. before doing so, one should settle the first marriage either by divorce or annulment. annulment can be thru church or court. no one should settle for a miserable life, there's always a way out, it's just a matter of decision and will. happiness is by choice and life is what you make it :)

That they still have not learned anything. I did not remarry anymore, but decided for a free style of living together. To others I present my lady as my wife, because I feel that is what she is to me, but without any legal commitments. It does have a SUPER effect on the both of us, she was also married before. We can walk out on each other whenever we wish, but we don't do that. Fights don't really exist, because the "fun" of hurting your partner, or punishing your partner, and unable for the other to walk away, does not really exist.. So my vision on marriage altogether is that it is a past station in modern life. let me be straight about this, looking from outside the USA into what is happening there to us outsiders. Marriage seems to be used there more to secure alimony but is not based on the old rules anymore to which our grandparents got married.

In Texas I think you have to wait 90 days. As for my point of view on marrying a second time, lol maybe you should ask what my point of view is on marrying a 4th time. I've been married 3 times and divorced 3 times. And I am with the most wonderful man I have ever met, besides my dad, and as for marrying him, well, I'm in no rush to run up that aisle again, and neither is he. We've been together going on 3 years, and it's great, so why fix it if it ain't broke? We're going for the record....longest engagement! lol
