Why do you go on facebook?

i'm at uni, so i can keep in contact with all my friends back home on facebook, also at uni all my course mates are on, it so we set up groups when we have coursework to do, to help each other out etc etc

I'm on there mainly for keeping in touch with friends that are worthy of keeping.

I log into Facebook everyday to stay in touch with ppl back home and around the world, to look up ppl from my school days and just to have fun....I absolutely LOVE Facebook and don't use my Myspace at all anymore..

I go on Facebook to keep in touch with people....I think that is by far the best thing about facebook....it's great to be able to communicate with friends online.

well facebook knowadays is becoming more of a trend. ppl post their picture in order to be cool. I personally hate facebook because I think its uselless.

i didn't know that such service exists until last year when i went at UK for uni. I realized that many people, almost everybody was joining a site called "facebook"! It's name was something strange for me...! i entered and made a "testing" account just to look around what's happening around. In less than an hour, i found a profile of a friend.. and then another friend through his profile... and then another and then another another and another friend..! more friends where added by me on my account and then a whole team of friends which i had years to see again came across that site! I loved facebook because of its service, helping people come close all over the world. Some applications make me tired but some others make me stick on the computer! Facebook worths!

I run a ministry at my school and it's the best way to keep in touch with my students and to get the word out about activities. MySpace used to be our method of this, but Facebook is much better for this purpose. I can also keep in touch with students after they leave and friends I've made at other schools.

I use my Facebook account to keep in touch with friends that I have lost touch with over the years or who have moved out of the area. I like the news feed because you can know what your friends have been up to without even talking to them. I use my Facebook daily not because I need to or really want to, but more out of boredom.

I don't really know. I guess... it's because so many others are on it I got so many invites I had to, just to stop being harassed about it. It's really like a cult. I don't like it that much. Ok it's fun to find friends that you haven't seen for a while or have lost contact with but people using it to interact with friends in their own city is ridiculous. I am all for technological advancement but I think their is a risk of loss of human interaction. I wouldn't want to live through my computer.

I love facebook. I joined when I started at my college. I am able to find people in my program and classes and ask them questions about stuff in class. I also use it to keep in touch with my friends from highschool since I go to school in a different state. Without facebook I don't think I would talk to half my friends. This way I can invite them all to events, get invited to events, know when their birthdays are or just leave them little comments and stuff.
