Does anyone know of an alternative to paypal?

I am using bidpay right now, but i just got an email saying they will be closing operations which really sucks. I am really upset with paypal right now because of the way they have jacked me around these last 2 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone knows of an alternative payment site. I would really appreciate it.

I can understand (perfectly!) your passionate hate to paypal, BUT it is still the best all-around payment method, at least when you are a buyer. And so, almost indispensable for seller to attract customers.
If you are serious about looking for a solid alternative, go for moneybookers.

have you used any of them? I am thinking of opening an ecrater store to go along with my selling. I want something that will be compatible with ecrater as well as ebay. Thanks

Hi Amy,
I haven't tried it but my friend is a big fan of Obopay. It's www.obopay.com and I'm not exactly sure how it works so you should probably read their site. Just thought I would mention it since nobody else did.

I am connected with moneybookers and I haven't have any transactions with them. I do not what problems I might encounter with them yet. Thanks for this post.

There are a lot of options other than paypal, but some may not be as large a service. Some to look into are e-gold, Money Bookers, e-bullion, Liberty Reserve, Propay,Bidpay, Bitpass, Firepay, Neteller and checkfree. As i said, there are a lot. Check them out.
