Bye Bye School. 'In your dreams!!!'

my father was surprised and my mother was disgusted when i quit college and went into the USAF..then i got a good job with the FORD MOTOR company and all was forgiven when i made more money then my dad..he was very happy as he always wanted to work for them..lol..but i told him he was not missing anyting (i lied)

There was a point in high school that I wanted to drop out. I was so stressed out and depressed and I just didn't care any more. I told my mom and she didn't freak out. She said I should sleep on it and really think of the consequences of dropping out. She never finished high school. She dropped out at 16 when she was a Freshman (she had failed a grade before that). She tried to get her GED when I was a kid but it was too much for her. In the end I decided to wait it out. I'm glad I did because school was so much easier then working for a living, lol. I did 2 years of college before I quit that. Going to school, exams, papers and working to pay my rent was too much for me. I'm satisfied with my education.

After i finished high school i didnt go to college. In a way i wanted to and then again i didnt want to. I didnt feel like my grades were good enough to get into. My parents didnt pressure me at all in the decision. They said it was up to me. I have a good paying job now. It pays all of my bills so im completely satisified.
