the muslims and christian friendship

Since the world has divided into two religion the muslim and the christian ! The muslim people believed that jesus christ was a prophet not a god nor a savior !The christian believes that jesus is the god some believes is a man and some is a savior ! Does the muslim people has only one belief but the christian people having many belief about christ and now the curiosity arise for whom does christ was alive and for whom does christ was came and save people ? but even in such problem still christian and muslims are still united even not in faith.

The reason of friendship with Muslim and Christian is that there was no war between them regarding religious matter in the past when the Muslim Religion was introduced by Hazrat Mohammad (SM). The Muslim prophet born in 570 A.D and got his prophetism at his 40 years i.e. during 610 A.B. Muhammad got the prophetism while he was in Hera Mountain. Then there were no war between Muslim and Christian and no hindrance from Christian Priest or no enemy like treatment was faced by Muhammad from Christian religion. Rather in muslim religion they should believe the past divine book and on whom it was assigned by God. In this case muslim believe that Engil or Ingil (Bible)was assigned on Jesus who is known to Muslim as Hazrat Issa (A). Issa is also a prophet of muslim but as Muhammad is the last prophet so muslim must follow the directives of last prophet Muhammad.

REALLY ? what were the crusades about? when chrsitians invaded israel and killed not only muslims but JEWS !! look into history.. its clearly shows christian HAve in the past been at war with everyone else

well actually they didnt invade israel per say they tried to win it back but it actually belonged to the jews first! sorry

First of all world has more religions then Islam & Christianity, but Christianity is the biggest and next Islam. Myself a Muslim and we believe in all prophets/messengers: which includes Mohammad, Jesus, Moses, David, Abraham, etc. and we do not consider any distinction between them. All of the prophets were human but they receive revelations from God almighty, and it is same for all Muslims. God is one who created the world and mankind and he gave directions to mankind through prophets/messengers.And God taught all of them to Believe in God, God is one and only, do not associate anything with Him, worship only to Him, accept his directions and do good deeds. Friendship not necessarily to be with of the same belief, I have many Christian and Hindu friends.

Hi shyne2007,I think jesus is the son of god and can be sen as fully human and fully devine. Many peoples say jesus was fully human, a man born like rest of others, with same temptations, weakness and humanity. The gospel of jhon said that the jesus was not born but he was present with god at the creation. Over a time it became more common to affirm that " jesus is god". Any way " All who are led by the spirit of god are sons of god".
