How wealthy is our God?

To say that God is very rich is an understatement. Most Christians think that if God is rich, why doesn’t He give me what I want? If all our desires are met, then this world would become more than crazy.
Philippians 4:19 says that God will supplies our needs. God is not an ATM machine that dispenses cash whenever we push the right buttons. Nor is he the banker in Deal or No Deal that determines how much cash you’ll get if you play the game right. So material prosperity is never the basis if we are doing things right in God’s kingdom. Here’s why:
A need is a requirement, something that we could not do without. When we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, we became citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20), well, our spirit for that matter. If God’s purpose for our salvation is only so that we could inherit eternal life, we could have died right there and then on the spot after praying the sinner’s prayer. But we didn’t, we continue to live until our purposes that will bring glory to His name are accomplished.
Jesus knew that our bodies had to continue living in this sinful world, and we would need a Helper that would help us get through our life here on earth with our double citizenship. This is the reason why He left us the Holy Spirit to be our Helper in times of weakness (Romans 8:26). He is our Counselor (John 14:26) who “will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
Here are other examples of God providing for our needs:
New Testament
1. Peter was imprisoned, God supernaturally released him.
2. Paul was persecuting Christians, God disciplined him.
3. Flocks of people continually followed Jesus throughout His ministry, He had compassion on them and fed them.
4. God knew that we will continue sinning as we live here in this imperfect world, so He gives abundant grace to everyone and forgives those who come to Him with a repentant heart.
5. Jesus knew that as we will continue to have felt needs, He reassures us not to worry.
Old Testament
1. The times were wicked during Noah’s time, God delivered his family to safety.
2. Jabez couldn’t bear the humiliation of his name, he prayed and God answered him.
3. Jonah needed to preach God’s word, so God did all that was necessary for him to obey.
4. Elijah ran away from the wicked Queen Jezebel, God provided food for him.
5. When Hagar and her son Ishmael were dying of thirst in the dessert, God gave them a well.

Wel all welth belongs to him, we only borrow from him. This is why we are to give, If the church were to live by the comands of God we would not need goverment welfare. We have let the state take the place of the church. It makes me sick seeing preachers preaching welth, adorned with rolex watches and armani suits, while people in their own congragation are in such need. Why are we to tith? it is not for the paster and deconds of the church. Under the new testament these monies are for the comunity. There would be no poor, and homless if the church was doing its ordained duty. Why can't we tell our churches that we don't need a new annex building and new chior robes, what we need to do is use the tiths and offerings to feed and cloth the poor, isn't that what Jesus told us to do? "when I was hungry you fed me, when I was naked you clothed me.... as you did not do this to the lest of these you did not do it for me". Lets organize our churches to do the will of Christ who is the true head of the church, lets open food stores for the poor, and clothes for the needy, lets give the homeless shelter so that they can get back on their feet. Lets quit preaching welth and start preacing humility and resoncable spending. So many people in the church are in debt, and God said the debter is slave to the lender, and Christ said we are not to be slaves to this world. Lets put our spending in a choke hold and get out of our debt so that are money can be used for greater good, feeding the sheep of our Christ.

There is also a very simple explaination of why God doesnt' give us what WE ALL wish.
The explaination is very simple but not very popular:
GOD IS IMAGINARY
