I guess for some, they don't celebrate...in our case, we prepare special foods for both the Christmas and New Year Noche Buena...we also decorate our house, hear dawn and evening masses, we also do exchanging gifts at work. We also do gift giving among family members which we open on Christmas eve...most importantly, we always see to it that the four of us, my husband and 2 kids are together during the holidays... Parties too are common. In fact my daughter's students are having their Christmas Party here in our house. What about you? How do you celebrate it?

We decorated and put our tree up the day after Thansgiving. We are going to have our family Chrismtas on Christmas Eve and then go to my mom's house on Christmas the weekend after Christmas we are meeting my aunt and uncle to celebrate with them.
I have not done anything for New Years in a long time as my husband has always had to work the next day.

I live in Macedonia, and we celebrate Christmas on 7th of January, so I'll have the New Years Eve party first. It's the night we spend most of our money, and many are struggling through the whole January cause they spent the money before the month even began. I don't know yet, probably me and my friends will have a party, but I don't like to drink too much. And the Christmas we celebrate with the family. The Christmas night we have a family dinner, without meat (only fish is allowed) and a pie with a coin in it. The father splits the pie to every member, and the one that will get the coin, is believed to be the happiest the whole year.

Yes I celebrate on the 25 , Christmas Day as most do , I can go to mass if I wantto , but I have no way there ans with the snnow I`m not gonna go .
If the kids were here I would give them one present Christmas Eve and the rest we would exchange on Christmas day .
Then we would have a Christmas dinner the same day and visit friends and family ...
Then do the same on New Years eve

Hello dear psyche. We are going to hold a Christmas evening dinner and party as well for all of the foreign teachers working in our school on the evening of 23rd. It is our usual practice for having a Christmas dinner for and with our foreign teachers coming from America, Japan, German, and Korea. The party will be held in a large and first-class hotel. I am looking forward to having the Christmas Dinner and Party. For sure we will have a lot programmes at the nice dinner party. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend.
