Where is my motivation?

I'm thinking of palcing a "lost and found" ad for my motivation. LOL My grandfather had a heart attack on Monday, so I was at the hospital all day. Then I got the flu and have missed work (both jobs) all week. And now I'm making it to work today, but I don't feel like going. I don't even feel like getting dressed. I still have to wrap gifts and get stucking stuffers, not to mention grocery shop. ( I think hubby will volunteer for that one.) This time of the year is so draining. After you've laid around for nearly a week do you find it hard to get going again?

Welcome to the club! I am at burnout level and I still haven't even started the wrapping. And I still have to decide what to get for my godchildren. I can't spend too much because money is really tight right now. I think that's the main reason for the burnout. Merry Christmas, SM, and I hope your grandpa recovers fast.

Merry Christmas to you too! Thay let my grandpa go home today, which I am thankful for. And I feel you on the money thing. I spent a total of $100 on all 3 kids and I made it clear we're not buying for anyone else. We are speding Xmas doing what we are supposed to, enjoying our families and the blessings we do have.

Hey there, hun! I was recently sick for 2 weeks and thought I would NEVER be right again. I had no motivation, didn't do anything but lay in bed and watch King of Queens reruns! LOL. It was awful! I have to say my hubby was a Godsend when I wasn't feeling well- he did everything around the house! But I'm so grateful to be back to normal and getting ready to host Christmas!
Hopefully you're getting back to your old self again too! Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Hope he is doing better.
Have a Merry Christmas, soccermom!
