Many of us experienced different crossroads, some minors and a few majors. How did you handle the crossroads? what did you consider in deciding which path to take when you are faced with forks in your life?
I've been to many crossroads, and I always think of what is good and what makes me happy. I always think of a win-win situation. Like whether or not to stay as a teacher or find a greener pasture. For many years, i am tempted to go abroad and find a bigger salary in other places. But my heart says I am happy with teaching so I stay. And also, opportunities and options really help in my decisions when confronted with confusions on which path to take. I just don't want regrets to happen, that's why =)

When I reach a certain crossroad in my life, i try to do a an analysis of the situation in both scenarios and in which scenario I could attain a win-win situation. But oftentimes, it is really difficult to decide on things especially if it will affect our life greatly. What i do is just that leap of faith and pray that things will work out at the end.

I feel that I was lucky in to to achieve my dream of traveling. It is what makes me happy. I get pleasure from thinking about past trips, like when I went around the world for a year. I have a few regrets in my life though I should have learned to drive when I was a teenager. I would have done a few relationships differently. I find that as I get older I get confused when I am confronted with which path to take. Sometimes I think it is tempting to stay with what you know about in life, like teaching at primary school level but part of me would love to be a college lecturer. I watch a program called "A Place in the Sun" and it is about people doing what I would really love to do, move overseas. But I am too keen on a comfortable base in the UK and I don't enjoy taking risks.

At present, I am more or less at one. Whether to move on to a better working situation or stay where I'm at. I am working on leaving. I have already made plans that I'm keeping to myself because I don't want to hear well, i think you can do this or that. Matter of fact, I was offered a better job where I go to church, but I felt it wouldn't be for me so I didn't respond to the opening. I plan to take another route.
