Don't change your mouse. You will be wasting money. Clean the mouse and try changing your mouse pad. Normally it takes awhile (well over 1 year) for a mouse to completely give out.

Is it a kind of mouse that has batteries? If so, you may look into changing them! Just a thought!

I also think that u should change ur mouse now. U may consider LOGITECH (either laser/ball).

I am pretty sure that this is an option in the settings to move the mouse pointer to the corner of the screen when idle for a period of time.
I have just tried checking the option on my computer, but I cannot find where it is. This may be due to my using Windows Vista, which is a program that I am still quite unfamiliar with and may have different settings.
I would recommend checking through the settings for your mouse before considering replacing it because if this is the cause a different mouse shall behave the same.
