Cysts on ovaries

I had an ultra-sound a week ago to see how bad a polyp was that they had seen during my exam. This is the third time I have had polyps. I went to the doctor's yesterday to see how the ultra-sound went. The doctor said she could remove the polyp in the office. She removed it and is sending it to be biopsied. But she said that the ultra-sound showed that I have cysts on both my ovaries. I have never had this before. I know I have been having pain lately. The doctor has scheduled another ultra-sound in two months to see if the cysts have grown. If so she says we might have to do surgery.
Has anyone dealt with ovarian cysts?
What if anything has the doctor done?
If you have had surgery, how long did it take to recover?
Any info would be welcomed.
Thanks!

I get cysts. I have had two operations and it does not take that long to recover, about a week or so. I had given birth before I married, and gave up my daughter for adoption, and I also developed a stD and I suppose if I had found out in time, those cyst on my ovaries were also a backup plan to make sure that I could not get pregnant after I married and I had one miscarriage and possibly more. So I am rather upset about those cysts, since I love children and would never have harmed any I gave birth to. Sorry I am upset.
