Hey guys!! I have a question. I'm trying to help my friend plan her wedding but we are in diffrent states so I thought a website just for her wedding would be a great way to swap ideas and such. But I have no idea how to make one and I don't want to pay for it because that's just silly. So any help would be greatly appresheated. Thanks

well.. one place that I use to make a website is tripod.com but I really think myspace is a lot more fun. you can post photos and have friends and stuff.. I have found so many old friends on myspace and we can keep keep in touch right on there, it's really cool.

I have used tripod for the last 6 or 7 years and have made several webpages and they were never taken down. they are still up and running even though I don't use them..

lots of free websites have website builders. Even Yahoo.com can help you create a free website with templates

Pretty much everyone has offered up a lot of tips, if you have any questions on web design feel free to contact me.:) you may even try free blogging sites as well, as some of them allow you to upload a photo right there into the post.

This site is free to join. Don't know if there are any hidden charges but have seen others using this site. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas. http://www.theknot.com/pl_main.html

I do my own thing or buy scripts, but I can offer the two free hosting sites that served me well before I started doing my own thing. www.bravenet.com and www.tripod.com Both those sites have built in site builders for inexperienced webmasters. Good luck in your ventures.

Hi Tiffiny, You can use 110mbspace or 110mb (I forgot the URL). It has the greatest features as far as I have known free sites around. For starters, it's name doesn't mean that you will be getting around 110m. It's 5GB, you can add features like your own forums, etc.

Freewebs has a good free hosting and website builder included. I used that to make my first web page ever. Now I use another free host because I make my pages with frontpage. I think it's the easiest all in one free package you can get. Have fun it'll probably be a good learning experience for you at the same time. Happy Holidays!

If you just want to make a web site without becoming a webmaster, I think http://www.geocities.com still has their page builder, a drag and drop program easy for beginners to use. If they do, I don't know how good it is but if you want to use them, it's free to sign up. If you don't want to use a page builder, you can download the Netscape browsers (version 7.2) free and it comes with Netscape Composer, a program for making web pages but it will require a little more knowledge to use.
