Boston police say they caught a grinch who cleaned out a home of its Christmas gifts by following a trail of tinsel left behind by the thief. Officers were called to a home on American Legion Highway Tuesday afternoon for a robbery. A witness told them someone broke into the apartment and walked out with several wrapped presents. About 15 minutes later, the suspect came back and left with a large flat screen television. Police say they didn't have to go far to find him. They followed a trail of tinsel from the victim's door to another door in the apartment building Fernando Mays, 20, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with breaking and entering. David Roberts, 24, of Dorchester was also arrested on several outstanding warrants.
