Hi every one I have a question for our Canadian contributers about our old age pension and as well all the additional benefits available, I will be getting the OAP and CPP in February, I have been told that as well there are several supplements that are available does any one know what they might be and where I can go to apply for them. I would appreciate any assistance on this one. Thank you

Hi, im in the UK, and at 59 years old I have been a campaigner for UK Seniors to have a much higher state pension linked to national average wages, for 20 years. Due to our low level of basic state pension ( £87 ) a week per single pensioners, with an extra ( £3 ) from next April, 1 in 5 British Seniors live in poverty in Britain, and we have an ever growing proportion of UK pensioners dying through the winter months and other cold wealth spells because they have'nt got enough money to live on. I would be very interested to know how much state pensions are in Canada, and any other countries, including Europe, if contributers are on here.
