What do you think about Nicolas Cage?

I find Nicholas Cage to be one of the most lifeless actors I've ever come across. He just seems incredibly dull.

he is a good actor. I like the face-off movie. the ghost rider was a mediocre one though.

hi rowena! yeah, i don't like nicolas cage either. i dunno, i am not sure if it is his acting that i don't like, because i don't watch his movies. there is something about his face...hehehe he just doesn't appeal to me, no matter what people or the magazines say about him. anyway, i guess it is to each his own. :-) merry christmas! :-)

Sometimes he's good and sometimes, not so much. The real problem is that I get sick and tired of seeing him. And, as you said, a lot of the movies he shows up in I wouldn't even bother to watch. Wicker Man is one of them, but mostly because I saw the original, and even though it had its flaws, it's a classic. From everything I read, the new version was terrible. I can't think of any good movie that's been improved on with a remake.

he has a real cool acting style that suits the likes of directors john woo and David lynch. they get the best out of him. but sadly he has made some simply awful movies that should be burnt at the stake!

We've watched Captain Corelli together, Rowena, and I agree, it's really unwatchable. The scene when the italians are dealing with the unexplosive bomb like a bounch of idiots for an italian watcher are painful. Maybe nicolas is too overrated

I've seen National Treasure todays (on the 1st january? Who said I've seen it in the cinema? :P ) an Cage is really good in it. I like the little funny faces he makes. Maybe if he acts a character he likes he's better.
