I have a sort of ebay addiction ... I search for almost everything there!! And the choices of things you can find are endless. You can get basic items for great prices, but then you can also get really cool and unique things as well. Some people are a little hesitant to use it because they fear being scammed however I believe that over the years, scams on ebay are much fewer than they used to be ans more easily caught.

Very much agree with you, depending on what you're loking for. Last year I bought a turntable from someone for like $40.00. But when I got it, the ground wire was missing. I found one on ebay for $8.00. The needle was bad and while trying to put the cartridge on it fell of and fell apart.The cartridge wasn't all that good either so I found a site where I could buy a brand new one and better than the one that came with the turntable. That was $20.00. So I ended up paying about $70.00. But with the new cartridge, it sounds great! Recently, I bought a Kirby G4 for $51.00 That used to sell for over a thousand. It looks terrible but works great. I had to buy 2 attachments that didn't come with it but that was under $30, so I still made out like a bandit. So yes, e-bay is great.
