Frustrated with the Holidays

Every year I grow to dread the holidays especially Christmas. I always end up broke and having a stack of bills to pay. This year I am pregnant and in two weeks my baby will be arriving. I had to resign from my job back around the beginning of November because it got to be too much for me to handle. I worked as a home health care nurse. So here I am totally broke and wondering how the last few bills will be paid. What is really bad is that if you don't pay the bills they send collection letters and threaten to shut things off. I had used what was left in the bank to pay the bills for last month and get some cheap christmas gifts for my family. So now its like what do I do? How do I earn some quick cash?

Hi there Mollyrose! I can fully understand where you are coming from ...I have 8 Children and what I found to help is to buy throughout the year in little steps so when Christmas does come around its complete and you can still have the bills paid. I would suggest just even this year make your own cards with a picture of you and your unborn baby =) don’t get to stressed you need to worry about you and your baby. I feel for you. I've been starting to dread the holidays too because aside from the stack of bills, you still have to worry about gifts and Xmas eve dinner. With the prices going up, you can't help but feel stressed. I wish I could help you earn some money but I too don't know how it is I could get a fast and easy extra income. There really isn't a 100% good way to earn quick money - a least without a bit of work. There are GPT site you can join and do survey or submit and email or zip code for cash. Some pay daily - like cashlagoon.com and quickrewards.com. I know it is tool ate now, but you should have paid all of your bills first then worried about buying Christmas gift. People understand when you don't have money to buy things. If they are really your family and love you they won't expect anything at all.

Hello dear mollyrose. I can understand how you feel because I am also not showing very much interest in having holidays, which just make us spend more on many things. Important holidays of the year are usually expensive, especially when we want to save some or more for some other useful purposes. It is the same with me that I would not have much left after the very important festival that we have in China, the Spring Festival. Thanks very much for your discussion, dear mollyrose.

by the way,when you r a pregnant,why not get some money from your hubby?or you dong have some deposit in the bank?you can take a walk outsides together with your hubby or your friends,,wish you have a good day and merry christmas

you should save lots of money
so that you can have enough money to use during these certain occasion
another thing is you should find a better job and get extra earnings by doing some survey or blogs
P.S. get a better job that pays you big amount fo money
so that you cannot be broke or have money promlems
