Would you start your own site?
It's hard work I know, but with help, I'm getting my own site started. Not sure when this will be running, but it will be very soon.
I'm not doing this on my own, I do have a rather large support network of PTC site owners who are going to help me though it as I don't know much about running a site.
However, I'm told I'm a hit in the PTC world that my site will be very successful, and I plan to keep it that way.
By being a part of an elite group of honest site owners, I vow not to let anyone down or cheat anyone like the scam owners do.
When we get the site running, I'll post it in my profile for all to see.

I wish you well. I'm in the same boat as I began my site on January 1. I'm ironing out the bugs as I purchased a script and there are a few small problems. But I'll be able to use the same script on other sites so I can branch out in the future. Your cost of hosting seems a bit high but if you are definitely getting the benefit of a dedicated host it will be worth it. At this point, I get enough traffic credit from my host that I'm going to stay with shared hosting for now.
Good Luck!!

Glad to see you have a better deal. I pay $100 per year for unlimited domains with 20 GB memory and 500 GB bandwidth. This is the first month I've even hit 1 GB bandwidth even with the new site. I think it will be quite a while before I need to upgrade.

Turns out it wasn't really dedicated hosting, the server had about 10 other sites on it, and it was horrible.
Anyways, now I'm on a server with only 2 other sites and my hosting is $50 per year not per month.
Hosting is provided by stpchosting, a privately run hosting company, the server and hosting are top rate too.

No problem.
As soon as it's open I will be posting here. There won't be a ref link so maybe I'll be able to post it up in my discussion, who knows.

Sites that have no minimum payouts don't survive very long, I've seen it.
Even sites with very low payouts have had to increase their payouts just to be able to pay their members.
I know quite a few site owners, a couple have had to shut down, they just didn't get very popular, but there are many that are thriving and very successful.
I know of one in particular, made $1800 in profit his first week, had 1500 members join in one day. Of course he is an experienced and trusted site owner, and knows what he's doing.
