I wish they could turn 24 hours into 24 days.

The concept of 24 hours is designed to heighten tension and suspense. However, it turns silly when the writers try to cram too many events into a short period of time. I have watched the show for years but wish they could extend the time frame.
I don't think this would sacrifice the suspense. It also would allow for Jack Bauer to travel to other cities and countries.
I would go for 24 days if they wanted to keep the title. Otherwise, one week would do the trick.

I am a great fan of 24 however I have always found it really funny how no-on eats or sleeps during the show yet I know if that was me I would need to do one or the other just to keep the brain going, so like you I think the 24 hours should be done over days as then it would feel even more real about what is happening because lets be honest these people are dealing with very serious situations and need to stay on top of their game yet dont sleep and eat, IDONT THINK SO

Yeah, I agree with you. It was a novel idea in the first season, but as they've had to add more twists and turns in the following seasons to keep viewers interested, it's more and more farfetched that the things that happen during the course of a season could actually occur in one 24-hour period.
I'd like to see the show continue but without the real-time aspect.

I agree with you, there are more concept about 24 to be apply for this series. Maybe need to change to romantic comedy style 55.
