Lol!! We all know that most families favorite meeting place for meals on holidays tends to be Grandma's house, right? Well, what is your dish to contribute to the meal for this year? I was thinking of making a strawberry cake with cream cheese icing, but I don't know yet. I might just take some brownies and be done with it. What will you be taking or do you just go to eat? Smile!! ~~Taz~~

Everyone is coming to our house this year, so we are cooking everything. We will be having ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and rolls. We will finish with pies for dessert (we have pecan, apple, and pumpkin).

I am making regular mashed potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, homemade apple sauce, garlic biscuits, and regular biscuits. I am actually making the apple sauce today, the biscuits tomorrow, and the potatoes on Christmas. The potatoes will be hot when we arrive, everything else will be reheated there. Although, we are technically going to my husband's parents house. So, it is only grandma to our son...:-D

I hope you don't mind me being frivolous here (funny) but when you talk about grandma's house me being a wolf think automatically of being the wolf in Red Riding Hood who takes her grandma a big hamper! Wow what big eyes you have grandma! A strawberry cake with cream cheese icing sounds absolutely delicious, wolfie would love some thanks! I haven't got a grandma to take it too so I would have it all for myself!

I will be bringing a candied salad. We toast the nuts in a bit of crown sugar and add cranberries and a sweet dressing. It is a basic easy recipe. I called her to see what I should bring and she let me choose from what I have in my pantry.

I am making platters of appetizers and deserts this year, probably Boston Cream Pie and German Chocolet cake. Usually I do all the cooking but since I cooked everything for Thanksgiving I got a reprieve and only got appetizers and deserts.

I don't have any grannies left, but we'll be heading to my son's Nanna's place(my mum), and we'll just be going to eat. Oh, and the presents, lol! We actually get told off, jokingly, if we try to bring anything for lunch, which suits me just fine!
