Christmas is often a very sad time for a lot of people. It is a time when they think of the loved ones they have lost or it is a time when they see how hard their lives really are. I feel so sorry for those people who have no one to spend Christmas with or whose family live a long way away. There are so many people out there who are homeless and children who live in poverty. Do you think of these people at Christmas?

It's really hard not to think about these people around the holidays. It does make me very sad sometimes, but there are always ways people can help out. Giving to charity and foodbanks is an easy way to help. You could also invite some extra people over for Christmas dinner with you. Christmas is a great time to call friends and relatives, maybe even call people you haven't talked to in a long time to catch up. You can make a difference in their lives and feel good about it. I usually have happy holidays, but sometimes things like this get me down.
