A Tribute: Let's Band Together

Another mylotter has already done this, and some others have indicated they were going to do the same thing...but thought I'd start a trend here.
I thought as a nice tribute to a dear cherished friend of so many of us here, I thought one way to show our love for her hasn't diminished just because she is no longer here, would be for us to change our avatars for at least one week...Hey, folks I miss my kitty one, and it is kind of weird now to suddenly see a puppy avatar instead of my kitty one and I think most recognize me as that crystal ball gazing kitty-- but am willing to do this for at least a week like I said...
So how about it...are you game??? Don't let mooch and me be the only ones to do this :(

Oh...thanks buds!!! If they suddenly see so many of the same avatars they might think they've been hitting the bottle too much...LOL

It's quite a long story, but in a nutshell, one of our favorite members is no longer here due to vicious attacks and lies to put it mildly by "trolls"...

I'm in. Whoever thought of that idea deserves a pat on the back. Maybe instead of just a week, let's stay this way until the end of January.
Hmmmm - I guess we can call ourselves TerryZ's Golden Retrieving Puppy Pack.

Hello pyewacket. I am still new here and I do not know TerryZ. However, I have an idea of what went on concerning her because I have come across and read many discussions about it. I do not know her, but it appears that she has a good many caring and loyal friends, so I think that she must be a great person. So, what I'd like to know is, could I do this puppy avatar for a week thing too, or what that be considered insulting or something since I do not know her?

Maybe this will show Mylot Villains that we are united too...and we are "the light"....

I just went and changed mine to the sleeping puppy too (it's strange not seeing my disappearing cheshire, but our friend is worth it). I'm noticing more and more are doing it along with us. Let's keep it going folks! Our friend deserves to be honored by us. Thanks for posting this hon.

what a great idea pye.terry is a great gal and i miss her so much.all these puppies are so funny.i thought i was seeing doubles when i first saw this because i am half asleep,but i love it and ofcourse i am in on this.sprry a little late on this but i got sick yesterday and so did my kids so i really haven't be on mylot for a few days.hope all is well.this should be interesting hehe.love pattie

I know..anyone seeing all these puppies all over the place people will think they have been drinking a bit too much spiked eggnog..LOL It is kind of funny to see.
Oh, hope you feel better..not a stomach virus thing is it...around where I am it's actually in the news of this stomach thing going around...so far I haven't gotten it..thank goodness.
Glad to see your tribute to Terry :)

aww no problem anything i can do for a special friend i will and that goes for you as well.your such a wonderful person.well we all have very stuffy noses and i can't brethe.never fails though every christmas me and my kids get sick,i hate it.pattie

Hehe, this discussion DOES look kind of funny. With the exception of the 1st response, it looks like it is all one person having a discussion with themself. LOL. The puppies are adorable though. Your kitty avatar is adorable too, pyewacket.

I'm in!! TerryZ was a great gal and still is but we want her back! Gosh this is going to be confusing as all get out but funny! I wonder if we'll get funny responses because they belong elsewhere... too funny! Great idea! Even though I'm gonna miss my Santa with all his cats and dogs around him, it's only two more days away so yeah! let's do it!! LOL

Hi pyewacket,
I've just logged in here, after being busy all day, and saw this discussion in my in box. I'm still feeling so bad for Terry, and I never got the chance to know her as 'my friend.':( I'd seen her around lots though, and thought, "she's great, fun, etc.," and she's a good friend to somebody close to me too. I'd entered into her discussions, and she mine, at times. I hate to think of her sadness, this holiday season, because of this, as it meant so much to her to be here. Right now, I'm seeing, double, triple, quadruple, etc. etc. This is such a good idea, and a fitting tribute. Thanks to you, and oneandonemakesix, for this.

Hi Pye,....oh, I'm so sorry I missed out on this for so long....haven't been on the computer since before Christmas but here I am!
It's so wonderful to see the puppy all over the place again and my Kashmere is honored to be replaced for such a great tribute, she told me so, haha.
If we could only see Terry's name again underneath, I think the hoopla and cheering would be louder than the noise on New Years Eve!......but for now, this is an honorable gesture for such a great friend.
