What kind of shoes do your kids wear and do they ever wear them in the house?

My friends kids always have their Nike shoes and socks on even in the house. I have only seen them barefoot once and it was because they had just had their bath and were going to bed. So they are in shoes 12 + hours a day. I knew a few people like this growing up too. I guess it is a cultural thing as some people do not allow shoes inside while others wear them all the time. Personaly I wear my shoes in the house now, but never did growing up.

We usually take our shoes off in the house just because it's more comfortable. Also, for very young children learning to walk and growing very quickly, it is best to be barefoot. Though in cold weather we do wear socks and sometimes slippers to keep from getting too cold.

I never wear shoes in the house. Neither do my kids. I also didn't put shoes on my kids when they we're tiny up until they began to walk.

Well my daughter likes to wear shoes that she can slip on and off because when she gets home from school she LOVES to toss them where ever she can find a spot (especially in the middle of the floor). I like to toss mine off when I get home because its more comfortable for me when I have had a hard day at work.
