whar is special about friendster.com

It is a friendship networking community where you can actually share photos, testimonies, blogs videos, comments and the like for your friends.Been a member since 2004 but cacelled my account as someone had been sending some prank messages that I felt being harrassed. Also, my only reason to join that site is to exchange messages from classmates and friends that I want to keep in touch, but found out too that there are those who pry on you...So I felt it is not worth my time and there's no pay out there, no discussions to enjoy.I'd rather be here.You might want to try making an account to friendster and have an experience for yourself.I am only relating what is mine.

Neither have I. But by the sound of it, it's just another friendship site where you'll be able to make friends, chat with them and create and join communities. In other words, just like Orkut. All these friendship sites are almost the same. There shouldn't be anything special about this site. And btw, if you haven't visited this site before, then how can you tell that it's special by having just one look at it?
