How to lose weight?

I want to lose weight fast but I want to have the healthy and safe approach on losing weight.
It's been my problem for almost a month now, I'm gaining weight because I love to eat.
Do you have any tips to share?

You just have to watch the type of food you eat and watch the amount that you eat.
it's not safe to lose a lot of weight fast.
but if your eating right and are staying active you should see results soon.
go for at least an hour walk a day if you can.. if you have steps, walk up and down them, that will be a good exercise.
just up your activity level a little.. snack on healthy stuff instead of stuff like chips and candy and cakes..
if your eating right and exercising you will lose weight.

I'll try to change my lifestyle and try to have a walk atleast twice a week.
