I have a book on cichlids (tropical fishes) that cost me $100.00 and I still use it a lot. It was well worth the cost to me. I also have a library on tropical fishes and aquariums plus I am the librarian for the Pioneer Valley Aquarium Society so I have plenty of reading material to go through. I would guess that I have between 250 and 300 books plus many more magazines on tropical fishes. I also have many books on native American life especially the Cheyennes.

It was a book for school. It was a family law book for my family law class. It cost about $112. At the end of the semester they were only offering $20 to buy it back so I decided to keep it. It wasn't worth it because I only needed if for one class and haven't gotten much use out of it since then.

Oh yes! I remember about spending money on those law books which cost a bomb but doesn't worth much when you try to sell them later. Worse still for me, when I eventually tried to give them away for free, no one wants them anymore as new editions are out. They are still taking up alot of my shelf space after more than 10 years.

The most expensive book I have ever bought (since most of the time I get used books) was the post secrets book (www.postsecrets.com). I think I paid 24.99 plus tax.
