Why Must a Friend Feel They Have to Lie to A Really Good Friend

i have a friend that use to be open with everything but now they feel that they have to lie .for me friendship is not about lieing to some you consider a close very important or love, especially since you where always open too that person it sucks when you find out that person lies i feel no need to lie just be open like you use too

WHY is the question? Have you at some time given them reason not to trust you which is why they are so evasive now.. Has a trust been broken without you even realising it. I think this is a question you need to ask you friend. Or what are they hiding??? Are they doing something they shouldn't and feel they would be judged by you negatively if you found out. If in the past they have been open an honest there is a definate reason hiding in the background. Hope you sort. Good luck

I don't know why a friend should have to lie to a really good friend. Perhaps, they don't want to disappoint their friends so that is why they have to lie. :-)

I have a couple of friends who lie about silly little things, I don't know why they bother neither of them have good enough memories and always show their lies at a future date, I sometimes feel like saying something but I feel the lies were so petty it is not even worth making some one look silly over, I guess I am too lazy to worry about making up lies and I know i certainly don't have a good enough memory to keep my integrity.
