So, my husband and I need to buy some luggage as he is constatnly traveling, and I am planning on doing some traveling myself in the near future. We would like to get a good luggage set that will last for a while, but also don't want to break the bank. We have had problems with wheels breaking off suitcases in the past. So, what brand of luggage is both affordable and durable? What do you reccommend? And where can I buy it? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I bought my last set at Wal-Mart for roughly $40 and it included a small travel bag, a duffle bag and the largest size carry one bag that you can have. All bag except for the small bag, has a stow away handle and wheel. I believe they are Travelers brand. They have gone one about 10 trip now and are still in perfect condition.

Yes, I think you could consider a back pack. Then you do not have to carry a heavy suitcase. It leaves both your hands free. They usually have a lower compartment where you could keep your clothes and a upper compartment where you could keep the other things you wish to take with you. Mac Pac or Karrimoor are good makes. Wheels can fall off any suitcase I think. Back packs tend to last longer in my opinion. I hope that you buy your ideal luggage and happy traveling to you.
